COVENANT UNIVERSITY

I still wonder why our parents still rush students to Covenant University, yes they got good infrastructures, state of the art Library, Holy Spirit filled Chancellor, but it really isn’t about that. Why would an Higher Institution in the 21^st century deny her students of the free use of mobile phones, why would they derive pleasure in suspending and expelling students at the least offence, there is also the gist of Virginity test and HIV/AIDS test. Female students are not even allowed to hold hands with the opposite sex in the evening time, no wonder most of their students try to have the best of fun they can have at any slight opportunity. Is this not another glorified Christian secondary school, but still parents and students alike rush into this institution and get rushed out by their awkward rules and regulations.

BABCOCK UNIVERSITY

A Seventh Day Adventist Institution where neither Meat, Fish, Chicken nor Turkey is served alongside their daily meal, they make do with something called ‘TOFU’ made from soy milk. I once heard that this ‘TOFU’ makes the female breast bigger, no wonder a good number of the female students are heavily endowed. It sometimes feels like this Highly recognized Institution has lost it. They embark on so many building plans and stop half way, muddy clay roads that becomes a disaster during the rainy season, but instead the school takes pride in installing CCTV cameras almost everywhere, suspending students mostly in their final year, and coming up with the rule that no one can graduate with a “D” a few weeks to graduation. I heard this school likes money, to the extent that they close up most of the banks in the compound because they couldn’t pay up certain dues requested. They love parties so much, to the extent that the whole school is always practically empty any time a major rave party is going on in Lagos.

BOWEN UNIVERSITY

Yet another Christian Institution, some months back some final year students were told to kneel down under the sun as punishment for not standing up while the church service songs went on, FINAL YEAR STUDENTS O.

LEAD CITY UNIVERSITY

This is one controversial Institution, still struggling to get accredited in some departments after collecting plenty school fees from students o. It is claimed that a good number of students there are expelled students from other institutions. They party hard, dress to kill, Aristo on point, Yahoo Yahoo is the order of the day. Students in this University have a way of enjoying what they are good at. I heard a silly gist recently that an “A” student in Lead City is a “D” student in Unilag, just joking tho.
