7 Youngest self-made Billionaires $£N

Success comes with dreaming  and working steadfastly towards making your dream a reality. Age is no determinant of success as long as you are focused and determined. Here is our list of the top 7 self-made billionaires, some who have made it by turning their passion to wealth. In no particular order we bring you the top 7 richest self-made money makers.

1)  Yusaku Maezawa: from rock star to mega-rich retailer by age 35

Yusaku Maezawa is a former rock musician who started selling CDs and band t-shirts online back in the early 1990's. He then started a company called Start Today, along with a wildly-successful e-commerce site called Zozotown. Zozotown is set up like a mall, with different shops for different types of fashion and other products that are all sold on consignment.

The company has doubled its value every year since it was established in 2005, and Zozotown currently has over 3 million subscribers (one must subscribe in order to access Zozotown). At age 35, Maezawa is a billionaire and his company is still flourishing despite hard economic times felt elsewhere in the world.
2) Mark Zuckerberg: the 26 year-old geek who created an empire

Twenty-six year-old Mark Zuckerberg is the computer savvy Harvard student who created a little website you might have heard of called Facebook. Though there is some controversy over who came up with the idea for the social networking site (see the 2010 blockbuster "The Social Network"), there is no denying that it was Zuckerberg's hard work and brain power that brought Facebook to life and made it the most popular social networking site online today.

To date, Zuckerberg has made over 13.8 billion U.S. dollars. To his credit, Zuckerberg has already donated hundreds of thousands of dollars to charities and recently pledged to
donate over half of his fortune to charity either over the course of his lifetime or after his death.

3)Yoshikazu Tanaka: the 34 year-old who wants to rule the (social media) world

Watch out, Zuckerberg... Yoshikazu Tanaka is coming for you! Founder of Japan's largest social networking site, Gree, Tanaka (age 34) is already worth over $2.2 billion. Tanaka aims for global expansion and will soon establish a California office for Gree.

The name "Gree" is a play on the expression, "Six degrees of separation."

4) Dustin Moskovitz: The 26 year old who had the best college roommate ever
Just 8 days younger than his Facebook co-founder, Mark Zuckerberg, Dustin was Zuckerberg’s Harvard roommate and Facebook’s third employee. Serving as Fcaebook’s first Chief Technology Officer and Vice President of Engineering. Moskovitz amassed a self-worth of over $2.7 billion. He left Facebook in 2008 to start his own company, Asana.

5)  Oleg Bakhmatyuk: An egg-cellent 35 year- old business man
This 35 year old from western Ukraine is the majority owner of Avangard, Ukraine’s largest producer and exporter of chicken eggs.
Yes, chicken eggs! Bakhmatyuk worked previously in the lucrative state gas and oil industry, but moved into egg and egg products because he thinks that businesses will be increasingly interested in feeding the world’s hungry people in the future.

6) Sergey Brin: You might not know this 38 year old’s name, but you probably would have used his website today
This 38 year old Russian-American computer scientist and industrialist co-founded ‘Google’ web search engine, the world’s largest internet company, with Larry Page. As of 2011, his personal wealth is estimated to be $19.8 billion.

7) Xiaofeng Peng: The 36 year old who makes money from the sun
Xiaofeng Peng, age 36, is Chairman of the Board of Directors and Chief Executive Officer of LDK Solar Co., Ltd. He founded the company in July 2005 and it went public in 2007; it is now worth over $1.8 billion. Peng has made his own personal fortune of $1.5 billion all through renewable solar energy.

This is enough proof that your passion can bring you amazing success, dream big and work towards achieving your dreams, do not focus on the money, rather focus on the success and wealth would pursue you in amazing ways. Xclusive says so....

Kidnappers demand N 20 Million for Mikel's Fathers release

The kidnappers have made their demand, they requested for just N20 Million ($130K); I must commend them for their kindness in putting a cheap price tag for his release, considering Mikel's  mega status. I hope he pays up on time so that his dad can be released and the whole saga done and over with. Congrats Mikel

Kidnappers who abducted the father of Chelsea midfielder John Obi Mikel contacted his family on Wednesday requesting a 20 million naira ($130,000) ransom for his release, Nigerian police said

Police were contacted on Friday after Mikel's father Michael, who runs a transport company, failed to return to his home in the central Nigerian town of Jos. Apev Jacob, a spokesman for the local police, said they had found his father's car abandoned but did not disclose the location. Jacob gave no further details on how ransom negotiations were progressing and Mikel's family declined to comment. Mikel is understood to earn more than $100,000-a-week.The 24-year-old Nigeria international played in Sunday's English Premier League season-opening 0-0 draw at Stoke City despite knowing his father was abducted on Friday.

He has publicly pleaded for his safe return
It seems the act of kidnapping is now a very lucrative business, it used to be the kidnapping of whites and foreigners at a said ransom, now it’s Nigerians kidnapping fellow Nigerians for money.

MBGN 2011 tagged a Liar ..... shame!!!

Nike Oshinowo and her team at the Miss Nigeria organization have reacted to  recent interview Sylvia Nduka the winner of the Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria granted Vanguard Newspapers. They insisted that Sylvia lied in the interview.
In the interview published on 7 August, Sylvia responded to the question why she was nervous while answering her question at the Most Beautiful Girl In Nigeria.
She stated that it was her first time in any pageant and on any stage. She went on to say that she won because of her looks and activities at the boot camp.

Pure lies! Miss Nigeria organization headed by Nike Oshinowo stated that Sylvia was one of the contestants at the 2010 edition in Abuja. She was Miss Kaduna.
Our sources  gathered that she also participated in etiquette training where she was properly trained to present herself properly on stage and to an audience as well as other vital lessons in public appearance. She also participated in the media etiquette training with Jemi Ekukubor of Vanguard style magazine, Allure. Miss Nigeria stated that Sylvia survived the eviction process of the Miss Nigeria reality show and she was there at the grand finale in Abuja.
Miss Nigeria organization stressed that she broke her Miss Kaduna plague and refused to come out for the final parade of all contestants when she could not make the top 10 final list. Guess what, they have video and other evidence to prove their point!
But wait o! Why is Sylvia denying that she took part in Miss Nigeria pageant before she won Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria?
But was her reason behind the lies?

WizKid in song theft scandal

A 300level English language student of Adekunle Ajasin University has accused wizkid of allegedly stealing the hit song 'pakurumo' which she wrote and performed at a show in ado ekiti last year during the tour of a popular rapper. . . . She expressed shock at the inclusion of her song in wizkid's album.

''I bought a copy in akure and right there, track four is my song. He even retained my title of the song, but tried his best to alter the ekiti dialect that gave the song a special appeal". . . .However, she says she is not surprised his mentor sampled a popular female us- based musician's song that brought him fame. Bird of the same feather”, she claimed

"I may be poor, but I’ve sent the video to a lawyer and very soon, the guy will soon be exposed for who he is. I can't believe Nigerians fawn after the guy knowing well that he is not that talented, forget the voice", she added
More information on this matter would be brought to you as it unfolds

Wande Coal Moves on

This is definitely a wonderful time for one of the Mo’Hits artistes, Ojosipe Wande, otherwise known as Wande Coal.

Source revealed that the artiste has stepped up his game by moving out of their apartment in Maryland to a new place in 1004 flats, Victoria Island, Lagos.

His new abode is very close to where his Mo’hits colleague, Dr .Sid is staying. And a reliable source close to the Bumper-to-Bumper crooner told us that Wande Coal had specifically told Dr.Sid to get him a befitting apartment around Victoria Island, Lagos which he did.

The crooner who is working on his second album, moved quietly to the new place a couple of months back and the source who confirmed the story to us said there was no problem with him and his colleagues in Mo’Hits, adding that he just decided to be on his own.

The source said,” Wande might not like this because he loves doing his things quietly, but I want to tell you authoritatively that there is no problem whatsoever with the Mo-Hits as some people might be speculating. The Mo-Hits is one family and the relationship between Don Jazzy, D’Banj, Wande Coal and others is still intact.”

The house in Maryland, Lagos is now being occupied by D’Prince who also shuttles between the place and D’Banj/Don Jazzy’s apartment in Lekki Phase 1, Lagos.

We could not get what it cost the talented singer to get the apartment but our findings show that getting an apartment in such a reserved place is worth millions of naira.

Kanye West? Eminem? Jay-Z? Which Rapper Was Crowned King of Hip-Hop?

Whether it's spitting a flow on the stage or competing for the No.1 spot on the Billboard charts, hip-hop artists are always getting into some type of battle, and this is no different.
Rolling Stone Magazine revealed their list of today's top rappers in the game, which included names like Kanye WestJay-ZEminem, Lil Wayne and Drake, ultimately choosing the artist they felt deserved the honour—and an ego-boost—of being named King of Hip-Hop.
So which flow master is chillin' with an imaginary tilted crown on top of his head?
Well I bet u guessed wrong, The white boy's still got it.
Eminem snagged the top spot on the magazine's list
We've got Kanye and Hova's well-known success in the industry (not to mention Watch the Throne scoring massive positive reviews) and Weezy and Drizzy Drake coming out with a new banger almost every week, so what gave Eminem the edge?
Well, this decision was based on a couple of things: albums released from 2009 to the present, album sales, rankings on the R&B, hip-hop and rap charts, YouTube video views, social media, concert grosses, awards and critics' opinions.
Mr. Marshall Mathers took the title based on his whopping album sales (7.5 million during the time period) as well as YouTube views (1.3 billion) and social media (44 million Facebook likes and 5 million Twitter followers).
"We're not looking for the all-time greatest, although many of our contenders would vie for that crown," the magazine stated.
And there you have it.
Here's where everyone else ranked (and take notice Miss Nicki Minaj represented for the ladies):
1. Eminem
2. Lil Wayne
3. Drake
4. Kanye West
5. Jay-Z
6. Nicki Minaj
7. Rick Ross
8. Ludacris
9. Gucci Mane
10. T.I.
11. Snoop Dogg
12. Diddy
13. Pitbull
14. Fabolous
15. Wiz Khalifa
16. B.O.B.
17. Waka Flocka Flame
18. Lupe Fiasco
19. Kid Cudi
20. Big Boi

Globacom is owned by a yoruba billionaire, Mike Adenuga, so replacing nollywood superstars with yoruba stars should come as no surprise in a country where "who knows who" is the order of the day.

Kunle Afolayan

This should serve as a wake-up call for other Yoruba Nollywood actors. The future is bright.

Don Jazzy & D'banj betrayed me - JJC

"It’s just life. Some people forget how everything started and some people remember, I would say that I was really the person that built the foundation for everybody to become what they are today and I would expect that they would remember and pay me that regard but they don’t.

The experience with Don Jazzy, D’Banj and other ex 419 Squad members was heartbreaking, because it was personal and it became something that affected me emotionally, hence the reason I left music for four years and nobody saw or heard from me. I didn’t record or do anything musically. I slowed myself down.

Don Jazzy was a keyboard player and Mr. Solek and Kas brought him to me and said that he really liked my music. At that time I was already JJC and I had songs like kilonsele on air play already and had won a couple of awards, I was strong in the game. I trained Don Jazzy on how to become a producer and he lived in my house for about a year and I showed him how to produce, trained him on how to perform and put things together.

And D’Banj , from the branding to how to act like Fela, I did it for him. His song, mobolowon won, was written by me, Raggaremi and MP. Even All The Way was written in Lagos here. I was very instrumental in packaging Don Jazzy and D’banj.

I was supposed to release D’Banj’s first album on my label, Backbone Music, but by the time we all came back to Nigeria in 2004, everyone started going their own ways when it was time to sign the 50/50 contract. They all decided not to sign. If I give you a contract and you refuse to sign, there is little or nothing I can do about it.

Do I feel betrayed by them? I don’t believe in regrets, because I believe every single thing in life make you who you are. The experience has made me a better business man. Now before I start anything with any artiste, they sign a contract or an agreement, so that we don’t have any issues in future".

Woman deliver Frog like baby in Ekiti State

Note:  Please be warned story contains image some may consider offensive .
A woman believed to be in her 30s in Iyin Ekiti, Irepodun/Ifelogun Local Government Area of Ekiti State, has given birth to a strange looking baby.
The woman, (name withheld) and a mother of two, was pregnant for 13 months and was said to have undergone several tests at various private hospitals in the state where she was assured of a set of twins.
She was said to have delivered the strange creature at the General Hospital in the town through a Caesarean Section in the hospital at about 2.15 pm last Thursday.
The birth of the fearful baby caused a stir in the hospital as medical officials were seen discussing the strange birth , while others trooped to the hospital from the town and neighbouring communities to see the “strange baby’’
Commissioner for Health in the state, Dr. Wole Olugboji, confirmed the delivery.
His words; “There was a woman who gave birth to a strange baby at General Hospital Iyin. The baby is dead but the mother is okay.”
He said the mother of the baby was still unconscious due to the sedation administered to her before the CS to ensure she did not see the creature.
The commissioner noted that the strange birth was quickly disposed off to save the parents from embarrassment.
Vanguard gathered that the woman’s husband was present in the delivery room and approved of the quick burial of the strange creature.
A source at the hospital told Vanguard that the strange ‘baby’ has two bulging eyes and few strand of hair on the forehead. The creature had no brain. Its head was open at the back and you can see mucus inside the head instead of brain. It was a strange creature that nobody seems to have seen before.”
Another source said that the creature was very tiny at birth. The delivery was abnormal as the fluid which was drained from the mother’s body was in excess. The baby must have been deformed due to the effects of some drugs or herbs. That is why we always ask pregnant women not to take any drug unless prescribed by a qualified doctor. We cannot rule it out that the deformity might have been caused by concoction. It is possible.”

Popular actress mercy Johnson has finally called off her planned wedding to Odianosen Okojie. This is coming after an allegation of husband snatching was levelled against the actress by Okojie’s wife, Lovely.

Calling off the marriage is an advised move aimed at portraying her in good light with fans and critics.

She is being back in this line of action by Christ Embassy, the church that was supposed to host the wedding.

Source claim that despite this move- Okojie is still begging the actress to let them go ahead, but this appears far from becoming reality.

NDLEA debates whether to arrest 2Face Idibia

Officials of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, NDLEA, are
in a bit of a logjam over confession of drug use attributed to Nigerian superstar, Mr 2Face Idibia.

Mr Idibia is reported to have confessed to using marijuana in the past, but not anymore as he has since given his life to Christ.

NDLEA agents are now studying their guidelines and Nigerian jurisprudence to determine whether a crime has been committed, whether statutes of limitations applies, and most importantly, whether the confessor can be relied upon as a reliable witness against himself.

A staff of NDLEA had spoke to reporters:

“We have never had this kind of case before where someone comes on television and starts to implicate himself. Normally we rely on tip-off for our kind of work, but when someone comes out to say ‘I have been smoking igbo (marijuana), what do you do?

“It is like a politician coming on Bisi Olatilo show and saying ‘I have been rigging election in the past.’ Will we investigate him? or arrest him? or will we just let him go like that?

“And to make matters worse, when we were collecting our evidence, we got hint that he appeared on one foreign, American show like that; Monica show, or Money show, or something like that.

“When we watched the video, Mr 2Face was the only one wearing shades in the studio throughout. Why? Why will he be wearing shade during interview and saying ‘yes o, yes o’ to the akata (black American) woman interviewing him?

“We really don’t know how to proceed with this one.”

In related developments, ace Nigerian Lawyer, Festus Kuyamo, has offered to represent the musician in the event that he is charged, while legendary Nigerian reggae artist, Ras Kimono, has advised him to claim he’s a Rastafarian, which in essence means that smoking weed is for him, an observance of his religion.

The fun fair that greeted the release of the latest album of the leading Nigerian singing twins Peter and Paul Okoye, popularly known as P-Square, may not have died down fully but the latest story about the album which is being marketed by three of the largest marketers from Alaba axis, is that the album is a total sell out.

It was revealed that the CD has been reprinted about three times since that Monday by the marketers.

PA AKINDAYOMI'S CHILDREN MAKE PEACE WITH PASTOR ADEBOYE

Although, other children of the late Rev Josiah Olufemi  Akindayomi, founder of the Redeemed Church of God last week Tuesday made peace with Pastor Enoch Adeboye, their father’s successor, over allegations that the Akindayomi family was neglected, the story is still making the front burner in public discuss.

One of the grand children of the deceased cleric, Mr Abiodun Oluwakojo, had expressed satisfaction with the leadership of Pastor Adeboye, who had grown the church beyond imaginations since he took over as leader 30 years ago.

Oluwakojo had alleged that the family was dissatisfied with both the administration and leadership style of Pastor Adeboye who, he alleged, shut out the family from access to funds and decision regarding church administration.

Meanwhile, a direct daughter of late Akindayomi, Pastor Titi Adewale, who is the fourth in the line of five children, has said that Oluwakojo had no mandate to speak on behalf of the family, saying it was not the business of the family to interfere with the finances of the church.

Pastor Adewale said that, Pastor Adeboye is competent to direct the affairs of the church and that the Akindayomi family is satisfied with the leadership of both Pastor and Mrs. E.A Adeboye under whose tutelage the church outlet has grown from 40 when Rev Akindayomi died 30 years ago to over 20,000 parishes across the world.

Regarding payments, Pastor Adewale said that the Akindayomi family has received substantial financial support from RCCG in the last 30 years with children and grand children and great grand children as beneficiaries, adding that the vision of late Rev.Josiah Olufemi Akindayomi has been adequately preserved and even taken further by Daddy G.O and whatever improvements that have been made by him have for the furtherance of the gospel of Jesus Christ and we are satisfied with that.
