How It Started

It all started as a joke when the trio of T-Saint, Gbolz and Ayomide colligated by the love for music, came together to combine talents, diversity, art, skills and creativity to form what is now called “ACE BOIZ” crew.

Members of the trio are presently in their final year studying Microbiology in Babcock University, Ilishan Remo, Ogun State.

Music back then was for the fun and love of the game until Mogbojuri Olusola (Lord Smogzy), a colleague in the same course of study, listened to some of their tracks and advised them to form a rap crew and this was how the seed of “ACE BOIZ” was planted.

About the Crew

ACE BOIZ compose their lyrics, sing to entertain and can deliver rap both commercially and hardcore. They want to redefine music by bringing rap into various genres of music.

Ibikunle Ibitayo (T-Saint) is a prolific lyricist; raps well in modern English and Pidgin. He is the definition of music and has been in the game for quite some time. He also plays the lead guitar. With the ability to multi-task, he is tentatively the crew’s Producer and Sound Engineer. He takes most of the lead choruses and hooks of the songs. With ACE BOIZ currently under no producer and record label, he records and mixes the songs.

Adeniyi Adegbola (Gbolz) is well known for his brain-cracking punch lines and his swagger-fly delivery. Gbolz raps well in modern English and pidgin. He is a fecund lyricist and delivers his lines with consummate skills.

Adeware Ayomide (Ayomide) is highly proficient in delivering rap lines in his mother-tongue (Yoruba). Though he started with the conventional English rap style, he later discovered his comfort zone to be the use of Yoruba language.

Mogbojuri Olusola (Lord Smogzy) is the manager of ACE BOIZ.

Achievements So Far

“Koleyewon” was the first official release from the ACE BOIZ and it was highly accepted by both the young and old.

Other tracks include “No Testing;” “I Don Tire;” “No Be Beanz” ft. Dblack; “Aiye Le;” “Baby You Know” and “Kilo fe So”.
